Prestine Manderville Jr. born in Statesboro, GA grew up in the small community of Rocky Ford just outside of Sylvania, Ga. His oldest sister left behind a camera in 2001. He gained more interest in filming when he began using the camera for his high school track meets. He would take the footage and align the footage with music from Spider Man’s “Main Title sequence” created by Kyle Cooper & Danny Elfman (2002). He found it very interesting that music and film together can produce feelings in those watching.

He attended Claflin University from 2005-2009 where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication. Prestine created a on-campus show named Infamous Clips where he learned the duties of producing. Claflin taught him the importance of structure and helped him gain a professional touch to his projects. In 2009, after several news station job offers, he decided entrepreneurship was the best option for him to allow him to display his creativity. Prestine, also known as PJ, started his company Color Star Media. He originally began his business with the focus of capturing parties and events through Videography and Photography.

After a brief stint in Orangeburg, South Carolina after graduation and creating his company, Prestine relocated to upstate South Carolina where he and former classmate, comedian, host and actor, Jay Dukes began to collaborate and he started filming events for him.
