Prestine Manderville Jr. born in Statesboro, GA grew up in the small community of Rocky Ford just outside of Sylvania, Ga. His sister left behind a camera in 2001. He gained more interest in filming when he began using the camera for his high school track meets. He would take the footage and align the footage with music from Spider Man’s “Main Title sequence” created by Kyle Cooper & Danny Elfman (2002). He found it very interesting that music and film together can produce feelings in those watching.

He attended Claflin University from 2005-2009 where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication. Prestine created a on-campus show named Infamous Clips where he learned the duties of producing. Claflin taught him the importance of structure and helped him gain a professional touch to his projects.

In 2013 Prestine Created, Produced, and Directed Before The Hype TV Show. This talk show featured those who were rising in their professions. This show eventually aired locally on Time Warner now known as Spectrum reaching potentially 170,000 viewers each episode. Prestine working full-time made the decision to become fully self-employed in 2016. In early 2017 Prestine Filmed and Directed Music Video “Struggle Baby” which featured the future Grammy Nominated Hip Hop artist DaBaby. Prestine also gave musical production input during the recording process prior to DaBaby adding his verse. “Struggle Baby” now has over 300,000 streams on Spotify.

During Prestine’s years as a business owner, he has filmed, photographed or collaborated with many notables.

Prestine currently films for Directors, Artists, Marketing, Construction and Startup companies & Wedding Clients. He created and produced the first sports live streaming platform at Johnson C. Smith University in 2017 which he currently produces live streams for Football, Basketball, and volleyball games.

PJ is also making strides to have a greater impact on the Film industry. In 2020 he finished film production as Director Of Photography for New York Times Best Seller, Omar Tyree. Omar Tyree’s “Monologues” which was set to begin tour nationwide on" April 6th 2020 was cancelled due to COVID 19. "Monologues" is now on Amazon Prime. PJ secured his first role as sole Director in Family Feature Film "My Crazy Family" Which is set to be released 2024.

PJ Manderville creates visuals that open doors for his clients on National and Worldwide stages. As examples, he has created videos for Peter Carey and Joshua Anglero. During this time he created a video reel which was watched and recognized by producers of OWN Channel’s “To Have And To Hold” reality show. Peter and Josh then received roles as main cast members on this primetime show.

PJ was awarded The Claflin University 40 Under 40 Outstanding Leaders Award in April 2020. He is humbled and stated "This is even more special given the fact that this university is an essential reason to what I have accomplished and the positioning I stand in today."

PJ is focused on the image and the emotion of media works. He is committed to making the emotional message and genuine colour communicated in his video production. He enjoys being the creative mind behind the project and having the eye for detail and emotion. He guides his team and challenges them to produce amazing work.
